Letitia Hanke believes in action, for herself and her audiences. She works hard to do well and at the same time to do good.
Get to know Letitia.
From a young age, Letitia was a talented musician who loved performing. As a child, she dreamed of a career in music and pursued her passion through college. However, the harsh realities of a career as a struggling musician began to wear on her dream.
As a Junior in college, she decided to loosen her grip on her music aspirations. When an opportunity arose, she accepted a position as a receptionist for a prominent roofing company. After a year and a half, she reluctantly dropped out of college, yet this decision transformed her life. Within eight years in the industry, she obtained her own roofing contractor’s license and became the CEO of her own company.
Today, her company, Alternative Roofing Solutions, Inc. (ARS Roofing & Gutters), strives to be the best in the industry by delivering undisputed customer satisfaction. Letitia has celebrated 28 years of success in the roofing industry, employing 24 full-time, year-round employees who service the North Bay area in California.
Supporting her community is a core value for Letitia. In 2015, she founded the LIME Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. ARS Roofing donates up to 5% of its earnings from each job to the foundation, which focuses on three main areas: education (particularly music education), vocational training in the construction trades, and assistance to seniors.
